Too often we get caught up in our physical body and forget that we have an energetic side to us as well. It’s really important to realize that while you are a physical body, you are also much more than that. You are an energetic being who can be affected negatively or positively by that energy.
Your energetic side can dictate what you do, how you feel, and how happy you are despite what is happening to you physically or what you have materially in your life.
Most of us pay attention mostly to our physical bodies and the physical environment around us. If that sounds like you, and you want to embrace more of a balanced approach to life, then you need to start affirming some important things to yourself.
1. Being Aware Of My Energetic Side Is Important To My Life
First and foremost, you need to start affirming to yourself that being aware of your energetic side is important. When you start to believe that, then you will start to pay more attention to your energetic practices.
Energy awareness is important because it helps you feel connected to something more than your physical body. You feel more connected to people, nature, and the entire world when you are aware of your energy.
Consciousness is energy too. It’s not physical. You can’t touch, hear, or taste it. But, it’s important if you want to be present and get a sense of what’s really going on at the moment.
Being aware of how you think and feel is important because how you think and feel gets transferred into the physical world, so you want to be able to understand what you are seeing, thinking, and believing in order to create the physical life that you desire. In fact, everything starts with your consciousness. Your body is the vehicle that does what your consciousness tells it to.
In short, your success and happiness depend on your energy awareness and how it impacts your life and the physical world around you.
2. I Want To Let Go Of Past Pain
Your past pain may affect your physical body, but the only way to get rid of it is through your energetic body.
Confusion, anger, guilt, and fear are all low energetic vibrations. By paying attention to your energetic side and practicing some energetic habits, such as forgiveness, mindfulness, and reflection, you can start to let go of past pain that is still hurting you and raise your energetic vibrations to higher states of love or above.
3. I Want To Be More Connected With My Intuition
Your energetic side includes your intuition. That’s the little voice inside of you that tells you to turn right instead of left. It’s the inner voice that knows what you should do – even if you are not consciously aware of it. It can override your subconscious voice, which tells you what to do based on past experiences, limiting beliefs, and fears. And that’s a good thing!
Your life is currently based on your subconscious voice. For the most part, it tells you what to do and how to do it. And, it has a consistent pool of information to choose from. That means if you want to change, you either need to change the files stored away in your subconscious mind, or you need to be able to tune into your intuition and take some chances despite what your subconscious mind is telling you. If that chance works out, then your subconscious mind will store that information and it will impact how you move forward.
Moreover, you are not physically connected to everything, but because you are made up of energy, as so is everything else, you can energetically connect to other things. For example, you may have felt when someone you know feels bad or sad, even if you were across the country.
That kind of energetic connection can be applied to everything and, besides using your intuition, you can decide whether things are good for you or bad for you based on it. 4. I Want To Be More Present
It’s always worth remembering that you can only experience life in the here and now. You’ve already done the past and you can’t experience the future until it becomes the present. So, if you don’t want your whole life to pass you by without experiencing it, you need to become more present.
In order to tune into your energetic side, you need to be present. It’s required. If you are somewhere off in the future or the past, you can’t tune in to your inner self.
5. I Want Other People To Feel Good Around Me
There’s an added benefit from connecting to your energetic side, and that’s the fact that other people start to enjoy being around you. You have more calm, present energy around you and people are attracted to that.
When you are stuck in your physical body, your ego often runs things, and that can turn people off. Moreover, your lack of presence and awareness can make people feel disconnected to you and a little uncomfortable even.
